Born & raised in the New Bedford (MA) area to a family of musicians.      I began drumming at the age of eight and formed my first band at eleven. From ages fifteen to nineteen, I took private jazz lessons from a local jazz legend, Herbie King. Herbie not only taught me jazz drumming but how teaching itself can be "jazz." At age nineteen, I drove to San Diego in search of independence and the west coast music scene.

In San Diego, I worked with several projects, most notable a college-rock band named Cheeky. In 2004, an urge for change lead me north to Sacramento where my childhood friend and old band mate lived.

We played a few shows together, I also recorded a solo EP and street performed  on the weekends to promote it.

In late 2005,                                                                                                        I moved to San Francisco and explored the local jazz scene. After a string of bad luck, I  continued  north to Seattle in March of 2006, where  I finally felt at home. Some success came via playing in local rock bands (Blood Hot Beat, The Co.Insidence, Ocelot Omelet, 25th Frame)                                                                                                                                   busking, hosting jams (I co-founded and hosted Scrambler Jam at Cafe Racer from Oct. ‘21-April ‘23), and teaching.

My current band is Reset Rewind. I was so proud that we release our album, Behind The Mirror August 23rd 2034 and it’s available on all streaming platforms!
